Destiny
Is it our destiny to be together? I sure hope so. My life has been full of fate & destiny and I’m only a year old! I started my life surviving out on the streets of Philadelphia. I was very lucky to have a nice man, who I’ve heard helps a lot of the animals down by the sports complex, find me and take me to Francisvale. Having to live out on the streets has made me a little weary of people, so don’t be surprised when I run and hide when you first meet me. It’s just instinct.
I have made many cat friends here at the shelter. I’m used to being around other cats and they give me a warm fuzzy safe feeling. I am working on becoming friends with the staff members. I will cuddle up with my kitty friends and watch the activity going on in the room. There are some staff members that can hold me (if they catch me) and I will relax and purr after a few minutes. I just need a little time, love, and security. I promise I will be a wonderful companion with a little bit of time. I could be your Destiny!
UPDATE: as of 1/29/10- Destiny is going into Foster so she will feel comfortable in a home environment. With some extra attention from her Foster family she will be a great addition to someone’s home. We are hoping to have her go to a home before her time is up at her foster home.
UPDATE: as of 3/30/10-Amos is in foster care with Destiny. He is doing a wonderful job helping her see that living with people is a good thing. They are bestfriends!
UPDATE: As of 5/1/10- Amos and Destiny have started a beautiful relationship. They are falling in love with eachother a little bit more each day!
UPDATE: Amos and Destiny must be adopted together
* Destiny and Amos would prefer a quiet home together
