Hi, I’m Lucy and I came to the shelter because of very sad circumstances. I lost my mom to cancer. It was a very rough time for everyone. I was so heartbroken. Luckily my mom had very wonderful friends in her life and they made sure that I was able to come to Francisvale and have a second chance at finding a new home. Francisvale took me in and they even gave me my very own office . Can you believe that? The office includes a nice chair and comfy bed for my very important cat naps. I have to share the office with the Executive Director, but that’s ok, I’ll make due.  I would prefer a home without any other animals. I am use to being number one and I think I would like to keep it that way. I’m pretty quiet and can entertain myself, so I wouldn’t be much trouble.  All I really want is a nice warm home with a great view to the outside and a nice place for me to curl up by your side. I want a family that will help me heal my broken heart.
