Smartie

Hey there, I’m Smartie and the last few years have been a bit of an adjustment. You see, I was living outside with my friends Tippy and Beauty, just trying to get as much food as we could to survive everyday. Well one day the area where we lived was being cleared of all the stray cats and we were going to end up being picked up by animal control! Scary! A good samaritan brought all 3 of us to Francisvale so we would be safe and to also see if we could adapt to living in an indoor environment. Well, I’m not going to lie, it took a great deal of time for us to get use to all the cats and people coming in and out, but we are strong women and we adapted.

I may still be a little scared if you come up to me and you are not one of my trusted friends. It takes time for me to earn people’s trust. But once you are my friend I will let you hang with me and even give me nice scratches on my back.  It feels so good!

So really I’m looking for a home that is going to be very patient with me and just let me get use to my surroundings and then I promise I will become your friend.  You would definitely would be doing a great deed and good karma always comes back to those who do good in this world. If you want even more good to come your way you could think about my pals Tippy and Beauty as well.
