Ellie

Hi, I’m Ellie and I’m one of the nicest girls you will ever meet. I’ve been here at Francisvale for way too long and I cannot wait to go home. All the staff members and volunteers love me. They are so nice when they come and give me and my boyfriend Cedar nice long walks. People can’t help but smile when they meet me. I just have this infectious happiness about me. I’m so nice the staff even uses me to help new dogs feel better when they come to the shelter.

I love stuffed toys! I will carry them around with me on my walks if someone gives me one. I have this favorite purple toy that I just can’t get enough of.  Now I need a family that just can’t get enough of me.   I want to become part of a family that has just as big a heart as I do. Once you meet me you won’t be able to say no.

* Ellie loves children, but unfortunately she does not like the noise and commotion of their friends coming in and out of the home. She will need a family that can teach her that visitors are ok or be willing to put her in another room.
