Groucho

Good day to you, I’m Groucho. Don’t let the name fool you. I am not a grouch in the least bit. “I”m the king of the world!” Ok, maybe not world, but definitely the cat room.  I was a little shy when I first got to the shelter, but as I realized that it was a safe and nice place, I came out of my shell and took over the place.  I usually get what i want. If there is extra food around I get first dibs.  If the humans bring in a new cozy bed; I will be the first to try it.  I’m not trying to be mean, but if you don’t take what you want in this world you just get stepped on.

I’m a little on the chunky side……ok maybe a lot on the chunky side.  I just love my food and comfy cat bed. But I’m on a diet(so they tell me..I’m a closet eater) now and putting some playtime into my day. It was a tough adjustment, but I’m feeling so much better and I’m getting back some of my friskiness.  I’d be a great friend if you just gave me a chance.
