Precious

Precious

Hello, my name is Precious and I’m told the name suits me well. I came to the shelter with my sister Midnight when our owner passed away. I am very shy and quiet. I’m not sure who to trust, so I don’t approach many people. I do let people approach me, though and I am very sweet and affectionate when they do. You can hold me, hug me, and kiss me all you want. I love feeling safe and secure.  The staff here at the animal shelter thinks that something traumatic happened to me.  I am missing some teeth and because of that my tongue sticks out. I also look a little disheveled, like I wasn’t taken care of properly.  But I’m safe and sound now and can’t wait to go to a new and loving home.

UPDATE:  I’ve been at the shelter a bit now and I’ve noticed that I couldn’t survive with these other cats with being so pathetic and shy, so I changed things up a bit.  I played it cool for a while, but when the cats started trying to take advantage of me, that didn’t sit so well with me.  After I came up with a plan, it took  maybe a week to claim rule over the cat room.  Every cat that challenged me I gave them a little Kung Fu Kitty on their butts  and what do you know,  it did the trick. Now I’m quite comfortable in my living quarters. No one has the nerve to try to test me again and things are quite peaceful. It’s pretty cool that a cat like me can be Queen of the Kitties.
