Dax

Dax

In contemporary slang, the word “dax” is defined as someone who is cool, smooth, and popular — a real charmer. Well, our mini pinscher, Dax, fits this bill. When he catches sight of you, his tail starts wagging telling you how happy he is that you are there. When you sit down, he loves to snuggle on your lap and relax with his head lying gently on your shoulder. When he looks at you with his sweet, warm eyes, both you and he know that all is well with the world. Dax knows that when there’s work to be done, he’ll keep you company and do the resting for the two of you. Just like people, Dax likes his routines: Breakfast, a nice walk, a sunbath in the yard, and, then, a nice, leisurely two-hour nap on his back with his legs in the air. Ah, life. Does it get any better than this? Dax will need his new family to help him with his insulin shots, but, diabetes doesn’t stop this pup from enjoying being with you. At 10, he has a bit of a challenge with his eyesight, but, once you show him the lay of the land — no problemo. He’s cool with other dogs so he could join your two-legged and tail wagging family with ease. Drop by Francisvale and meet our dashing Dax. You’ll be glad you did.
