Support Francisvale

There is always so much to do! We have a SPECIAL NEED for VOLUNTEERS:

  • to help at public and fund-raising events
  • to do administrative, computer and office work
  • to assist in landscaping

Work directly with all the animals, including general care and such activities as:

  • Grooming
  • Walking dogs
  • Playing with the cats

It is extremely important that the animals are handled, touched and loved, not just kept in a cage or a run. If you could spare just a few hours each week it would mean so much to our four-legged friends who need you.

All volunteers must be 18 years or older to work with the animals at the shelter. We do have some opportunities for younger individuals. Please call or email for details

Pets of the Week


We specialize in personal adoptions and placement.

Hours of operation:

  • Adoptions & Surrenders:
    Monday to Sunday by appointment only.
  • Cemetery:
    Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Donation Drop Off:
    Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
