A Special Message for our Francisvale Family

Our ongoing priority is the health and safety of you, our devoted volunteers, our dedicated staff, our generous adopters and donors, the general public, and, all of our wonderful animals. We are closely monitoring the status of the COVID-19 pandemic as it changes almost hourly.

We are happy to report that Francisvale is gradually reopening and is once again scheduling appointments for adoptions and surrenders.  Our staff is taking extra precautions to keep everyone healthy by sanitizing daily and also before and after any appointments.  The staff and anyone entering Francisvale is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Physical donations can be left in the plastic bin in the parking lot on Arden Road.  Monetary donations can either be sent directly to Francisvale or made on our website.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and continued generosity as we work through this situation together.

Warmest regards to you and your family, and stay healthy!

Pet of the week: Cutie

Cutie is just the most perfect name for this “pretty as a picture” Chihuahua. She may be considered a “senior” at eight years old, but she is anything but that! This Cutie pie knows who she is and what she wants. This girl has a big personality in a petite, cuddly frame.

Cutie will flourish as the one and only in a quiet adult only household and will be best situated with experienced guardians who appreciate and understand how to handle an independent thinker. Cutie is a fun-loving pup who enjoys a good snuggle, a cozy bed, and lots of walks.

She also savors her treats, don’t we all, but, being a figure conscious diva, she has switched to her low-calorie Charlie Bears so she is summer ready! Give Cutie your heart, and she will give you hers – what a great deal for you both.
